Speakers ?

What size speakers goes in the kick panels of a 86 720? Does anybody have any suggestions on brands that sound good and fit . I looks pretty shallow thanks

You're gonna need 4 inch speakers. I have Rockford Fosgate Prime R14X2 and so far theyre pretty good. You're also gonna need speaker baffles (I use Boom Mat 4 inch Slim 2 1/4) and a Metra 72-9300 speaker harness. The speaker baffles are gonna stop the speakers from vibrating against any metal and give it some more base. THEY DO WORK! I recommend that you use crutchfield.com because with the purchase of any speakers for your truck, they give you a FREE pair of Metra Speaker Harnesses and an instructional sheet. Also buy the speaker baffles while you're at it or you'll have to pay for the shipping later.

I've been looking at speakers for my 521.

I keep coming back to look at Infinity speakers. Low power needs and the tweeters rotate/angle for sound adjustment.

My truck came from the factory without a radio so I don't really need the harnesses do I ? What are the fosgates rated at?

The fosgates are rated about a 4.5 out of 5 stars with 44 reviews on Crutchfield.com and are $30 right now.... What do you mean without a radio? Do you mean you have an aftermarket radio?

Thanks! My truck was ordered from the factory without a radio . So it doesn't have a antenna , speakers or radio.

I dont think you would need the harness, im not too sure.
