Hey guys I really need someone who knows more than Me I have a gti Sentra 1991 with a front wheel drive ca18de 5speed and I was wondering how hard it would be to swap some sort of sr20 maybe out of a Primera ect if it would mount straight in to my Sentra as I love that little car and want to make it go 200 as I almost destroyed it at 175 the other day also if I was to get a Sr can you get 6 speed boxs? Thanks heaps for your time and knowledge

Hi Zak, welcome to Ratsun.

I don't know, but maybe someone else does. I would imagine that a FWD SR20 would work if you have them. We got them on some 90s models. You probably will have to swap the FWD transmission as well.

Sentra top model came with an sr20 in the early 90s in the US, so yes it can fit. Likely bolt in with the right mix of parts. There was a six speed sr trans in late nineties, early 2000ss G20 (primera) here in the States. However it is not just bolt in, there area couple issues that make it difficult, but I don't remember the details of those. You might find better info over on sr20.com as well

It will drop right in. Done it on a few B and P chassis's. I would suggest the following sites as it has been done A LOT on them:
