Driveshaft

So I'm having trouble measuring and I keep overthinking it and all the research I do is a bit sketchy. So I'm using a zx long tail 5 speed and stock rear end with an l20b. Does anyone know the measurement it's supposed to be?

Ps. I'm gonna get hate for this shit but I'm in a rush and hoping to get this figured out before tomorrow morning

The stock 510 sedan 2 or 4 door driveshaft is 42 9/16" or 42.5625"

Properly shortened it's 37 3/8" or 37.375"

42.5625 - 37.375 = 5.1875" roughly 5.2"

The stock 4 speed is just a hair over 26" long and the zx 5 speed is 31.5" a difference of just under 5.5" close enough.

Sorry I forgot to mention I have a wagon. But I should have it shortened 5.2 inches? Correct?

Stock goon.... 48 7/8" needs to be 43 11/16" or 43.6875

Another trick is to use the stock sedan driveshaft which is 42 9/16" or 42.5625" instead of the shortened goon driveshaft... a difference of only 1.125" and has been used successfully many times.
