blackbomber
I want to say first you guys helped me a lot to get the truck through emissions.thanks...also, I have realized how much I have neglected the truck over the years. I have had it 30 years , I guess I just expect it to last forever..now I realize it wont unless I start maintaining it....next on the list is clutch fluid...have no idea how old it is, but its like a greenish yellow slime.....Haynes says to bleed the damper first, said its on the firewall..can I pump all the old fluid through the damper first, then open up the clutch piston and bleed it till its clean...... thanks guys.....the bomb... datzenmike
On the fire wall down behind /beside the intake. Just follow the clutch line from the master. I have no idea what it does exactly. People have removed them and it works just fine. It has a 'soft' puck inside that absorbs some of the pedal travel. Maybe it prevents it being so hard when you first step on the clutch. You know like stepping on a brick? The Z24s all had massive 240mm clutches. Quote Link to comment
