VanWaNAPZ720
Picked up this 1982 720 King Cab 2wd about 6 months ago off of craigslist for $600. It's in decent shape, minimal dents and rust. The seats are pretty ripped up and its got pieced together carpet. The Tach and clock don't work, which isn't surprising since whoever had it before me hacked in pieces of speaker wire under the dash. They also hacked a hole in the dash for a aftermarket CD Deck. When I picked it up it was missing the air cleaner assembly. I've went through and spent a day at u-pull-it to get it put back together, she runs pretty good, still have an exhaust leak I think at the flange because I already did the manifold gaskets. For now this is my Cruiser/Daily Driver. But i'm hoping to have it cleaned up and hwy ready enough to go to Canby next year. Will get pictures up soon. Quote Link to comment
wayno
Welcome :) If you tried posting a photo of your truck, it obviously didn't work, you will need a photo hosting account somewhere to post photos, Picasa is an easy one to use on Ratsun from a desk top computer, I have no idea what you should use on a hand held devise. 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The clock has it's own fuse so start by replacing the 8th fuse over from the left hand (driver's door) side. It is possible that the clock is broken. Power for the tach also powers the back up lamps turn signals and other gauges so if they are working the fuse must be good. It's also possible the tach is broken 1 Quote Link to comment
wayno
I just figured out that you are local to me, what colors are in your tach, does it have yellow and red, or just red? 1 Quote Link to comment
VanWaNAPZ720
Bumper markers were busted out and the hood vent was broke off. The previous owner started on some body repair. First to go were those darn hubcaps... just not a fan Drivers side tail light bezel is rotted but that's the only real major rot i've found. Need to find a replacement. Quote Link to comment

VanWaNAPZ720
I was driving today down the Hwy going to pickup my other car that broke down on my way to work at 2 am this morning, but long story short I lost both my hood vents. Apparently they weren't stuck down as good as I thought. Just another thing to add to the ever growing list!! Quote Link to comment
