hatch
right side turn signal works when it wants to . anyone know of a corrosion spots or whatever ? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Power from the fuse for the turn signals passes through the flasher unit. From there to the hazard switch in the OFF position only, from there to the turn signal switch which selects L or R, from there to the bulbs and to ground lighting them. If either L or R work, then power is getting to the turn switch. Unscrew the steering wheel column cover off and spray the turn signal switch with contact cleaner while working the lever. They are lubricated, but attract dirt and make poor contact. If this fails the wheel will have to come off and the turn signal/headlight switch/wiper switch assy removed for further 'getting at'.. 1 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
Don't need puller. Remove the 21mm?? 23mm?? w/e nut and the tapered washer and spring. Turn head to right or left and thump firmly towards you on the underside of the steering wheel spokes. disclaimer:Failure to turn head will result in trip to dentist. Quote Link to comment
