DrRocks0
^^^^ Figure 3k at least for motor, trans, harness and computer. Then you are going to need fabrication to mount everything. Custom piping for exhaust, custom mount an intercooler and plumbing for it, upgrade fuel and cooling system to support the motor. There are all sorts of little expenses too that add up as well. I would save up 6k then buy your motor so you don't buy a motor then never install it and end up selling your swap for a loss. Quote Link to comment
paradime
Do yourself a favor and read a few build threads, You'll get much more useful information if you do your own research. To be honest I'm not sure the A series has the same engine mount location as the L-series chassis. If they are dramatically different this would require a great deal of extra fabrication. Swapping the motor is just the startof building a drivable car. When you consider the 210 is a car built around a 70 hp engine, you can't expect to just drop it 250 hp monster in there and expect it to handle it. Read up on this swap and you'll answer all these these questions. 1 Quote Link to comment
