b210man Posted August 8, 2014 Report Share Posted August 8, 2014 ive got a b210 here and my tranny went out i think or it might be the flywheel but if i do end up needing a tranny im just going to buy my buddies 90 silvia ca18det turbo with matching 5 speed tranny...my big question is will it drop right in without having to change the driveshaft or anything else please respond im at a loss and if i cant fix it soon im going to have to sell it and i really dont want to Quote Link to comment
datzenmike Posted August 8, 2014 Report Share Posted August 8, 2014 First I can see you don't know much about your car, this is not a criticism, it's just that this makes you a non expert on what is wrong with it also. What is it doing or not doing that is a problem? What ever it is it will be much easier to fix that putting a CA18DET in. Second, nothing is going to 'drop in' except another A series engine and /or transmission. Lengthening or shortening your driveshaft is the absolute least thing you need to worry about swapping a CA18DET into your B. Quote Link to comment

Tell the people on here what it does and when it does it ,, noises or whatever, as there is some of THE best B210, minds and tranny lovers on the internet here, that can help you guess at it.,....... Do you have a camera that takes video ? sometimes that helps quite a bit. Do you have money for someone to help you fix it ? Quote Link to comment
