Is there a difference between a 78 and 80 floor plan?

Tried searching but couldn't find anything on the topic.

 

Found a carpet kit for a 1980 620

Should it work in my 78? It looks right but

I just wanted to see if anyone had any insight

I can't find a kit in a lower year.

620s were done in 79.

All regular cab (short and long wheelbase) main floors are the same '76 and on

All KC floors are the same from Feb '76 and on

 

The '79 Camper option is different but hey it's only slightly.

 

The 720's earliest build date was June '79 so I imagine the 620 was done the month before this. Carpet companies sell carpet they can't know everything about the vehicles they are made for. If it says '80 assume it is and it's really for a 720. Compare the number with an '82 and if they match it's a 720.
