Yes you can put the box back together. I used regular grease to keep the bottom bearing in place while I turned the colum shaft to screw the box gear back in place. Then put the top 3 screw cap back on and made shure the boxxed gear thing was centered by adjuting the tentioner & set nut. Then put the end cap back on an filler up with 80-90 wt gear oil.
When all is said and done you may have to re adjust the set nut to get any play out of the steering wheel, but be shure you "Do not make anything tight" only take out the wheel play.

PS: I used silicone sealer for my gaskets.. not shure what to do about the O-ring.

I also used RTV Orange to make my body mounts look sporty and prolong the rubber life. :thumbup:
