jimmy dale
OK picked up another D620 this one for me the rear right everything except the backing plate was missing. so I got a another rear-end and replaced all the way to the 4 nuts. the new one I got has a E Brake cable hanging off of it but it has been cut. I still have one hooked to the truck the question is how do I get it to come off the backing plate to hook up the original from truck? Quote Link to comment

]2eDeYe
You need to pull the drum off to remove it. Once you unhook the cable end you depress the prongs holding the cable housing into the backing plate and it will pull out. Quote Link to comment

]2eDeYe
They are inside on the metal part of the cable housing that sticks through the backing plate. There are 2 or 3 can't remember exactly. Quote Link to comment

]2eDeYe
Nissan dealer nissanparts.cc You can get the part numbers here http://www.davidcmurphy.com/olddat/620tech.htm You'll want to pull up the parts sheet for your particular year. You can use that part number at the first link. Quote Link to comment
