Vegasgtz
My son and I just picked up a '70 521 as a project. It is missing the driveline from the center support to the rear diff. Now does anyone know what one piece driveline can bolt in with minor or no mods? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The earlier '66-'68 L520 and the first year '69 L521 with the J13 engine had a single driveshaft. that I believe will fit. You will have to unbolt the flange on your driveshaft at the transmission tail and then remove the nut in the end to remove the spline from the transmission end. Quote Link to comment
datson4life
Ive heard of a 510 wagon one piece bolt right up, can anyone confirm that? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The stock 510 goon driveshaft is 48 and 7/8 inches. I believe this is U joint to U joint. Quote Link to comment
Vegasgtz
I've heard that the wagon driveline will bolt up. The problem is finding it. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I know of you put a 71B 4 or 5 speed in a 510 goon, the shorter sedan driveshaft will work. also A 71B 4 or 5 speed into a 710 only needs a shorter 710 automatic drive shaft to work. Quote Link to comment
