Will a Z engine and tranny fit in a 620?

Do you mean like 240z? No. You mean napz? Yes with some work.

I put a Z24 in my '78. Used the Z24 engine brackets, Z series 5 speed, a Z20E rad I had laying around from a 200sx and 720 throttle cable for length. I think that was all. There are two coils but no biggie to wire.

 

 

 

L24/26/28 from a Z car has never lived up to expectations. It simply does not fit, ruins the truck, heavy, too much work for little gain. There's a reason you never see one driving around. A KA24E or DE would fit and it's well documented.

Excellent! I've been trying to brainstorming ideas that dont involve too many complicatioins because this is also my daily.. and that seemed right. Thanks for the heads up on the L series too because that was another option that I have available. So I wont go that route.
