does any body filler work on plastic pieces like modern bumpers and grills? i bought some fiberglass bondo, but it required some mesh sheets that i didn't buy yet. i was wondering if i should return it and get just the regular bondoglass or something else. so obviously it isn't for my datsuns, because they don't have plastic. but i have a couple of nissans too! thanks

ive used the 'kitty hair' stuff of the back of a plastic bumper end, w/decent results.

just a basic nissan bumper. altima to be exact.

i only applied it from the back and didnt paint.

small crack still visible, but it doesnt flap anymore :lol:

I havent tried this, and I dont know if this would work with the plastic in your bumper, but some people on a motorcycle forum I'm on have tried it with some success. Maybe worth a look: http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-%22make%22-plastic/?comments=all

u-pol makes a body filler designed for plastic. We use it in our body shop all the time..
