DATTOY
Been driving my 620 daily. One day suddenly no power. Trying to determine my fault sourse. Fuse link and the fuse box are my first choices for replacing. Any good ideas would be much appreciated. Quote Link to comment
67411sss
is the positive battery lead in good condition, plug into the ignition Hows the battery itself? Tried bump starting Do you have any power anywhere? Quote Link to comment
jvb5577
Check your battery ground too. I was having an issue with my main lead ground, would have no power to truck. Kinda same issue. I would drive it. Park, then come out and no power. Replaced my ground off battery and haven't had an issue since. Could be a million other things too! Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Don't replace anything yet. Figure out what's wrong and fix it if you can. No power? Is battery charged or dead??? If battery is charged.... Clean the battery posts and clean and tighten the battery cables. Be sure to check the negative cable where it bolts to the head is tight and clean. If headlights work the fusible link is fine and there should be power to the fuse box and the ignition switch. If headlights don't work possibly the fusible link is bad. Quote Link to comment
jvb5577
YES trouble shoot first for sure. On the fuse link the wire may look good from the outside but will be fried inside. Feel it and if hollow feeling then it needs to be replace. It still may draw current threw it but wont be reliable. Quote Link to comment
