Proper ride height is important. Adjust the torsion bars so that the distance vertically between the LCA spindle bolt center and the bottom of the steering stopper is 1.5" to 1.7".

 

 

I'm pretty close to that maybe 1.5" but not positive I actually backed me off a bit

You actually understood what I said??? I'm looking at the '84 FSM picture and it takes me a while to see what they mean.

I have no clue what was done. got the truck on jack stands today and noticed it looks normal while up in air. so torsion bolts will be towards the ends of threads if truck was lowered this way, and all I have to do is tighten them to half thread? front and rear are done this way?
