banzai510(hainz) Posted February 17, 2014 Report Share Posted February 17, 2014 Y0u have the weber that is reversed DGFV is something like that what it looks like. the main barrel of the L motor manifold the smaller opening is not with the bigger opening butterfly flap of the weber. One should buy the correct weber.32/36 DGAV or the simple man choke DGV 5A. seen this happen before the throttle gets stuck open I believe. you can hog out the manifold so the butterfly wont jam up on the manifold or get the bigger carb spacer Quote Link to comment
kevins750 Posted February 17, 2014 Author Report Share Posted February 17, 2014 thanks, didn't realize that was happening..I have had this carb for several months now and haven't had the problem until recently..I had it on my L16 but I had the 2 piece adapter instead of this 1 piece adapter..Maybe I will go back to the 2 piece...
