72 327 Posted August 22, 2008 Report Share Posted August 22, 2008 Why did he ever take it to be BAR'd? If its 75 or older it doesnt need to be BAR'd. I just went though this with my 72' 620. I was told by the ref to go back to DMV with a little note saying the truck was smog exepmt due to the year. (long story but I got pulled over and a CHP gave me a REF ticket Will post the story in general fourm tonight). And yes I live in califockme and we have to smog all cars 76' and newer.
