'70 Swepty

Recommended Posts

Finally got the tags up on my Sweptline today!!!

I was running this old '75 D100 heavy half ex usaf D100 around when I saw a '70 Sweptline D100 swb being unloaded at my buddies scrapyard.

I told Jim I'd trade him straight across for the '70, less my interceptors.

It had been left under some trees for 16 years after the exhaust broke off at the manifold. A bed full of rotting wood does no truck any good......

I used a chunk of Courier cab roof for a half-ass patch on the floor.

I HATE the later grille, so Jim let me snag a pie plate grille, less the plates. I also swapped to an early ('62) hood.

this is how it sits now, '63 core support, grille, and headlights, '67 F250 bumper and a lot more algae on it.

I've done little things all over; changed the cluster over to round gauges, swapped out the knocking /6 for a roller 318, converted the door handles to the early style, I rigged up a York compressor under the hood, but still need to connect it to a tank. I haven't touched it since I drove it out here over a year ago.
