Dime Dave
170hp out of an L16 isn't anything extreme for a full race L16. Today its closer to 200HP. If you can take a look at a "How to Hot Rod and Race your Datsun" book it will tell everything they did to the engine. Not a whole bunch was left stock. Heres a link to parts of the book someone scanned: http://diagramas.diagramasde.com/otros/manual%20datsun%20N0.1.pdf I built an A15 for my Datsun 1200 racecar and it made 156whp. Which is roughly 175HP at the crank. 1 Quote Link to comment
