Grab a shallow cup and fill it with water....place in microwave for 2-3 mins.

Dip end of a 5/16" 'stock' rubber fuel line into cup....wait.

After a min+ install on carb with the larger (OD) fuel fitting...................and or.

Works rather well.....especially in winter when things are a little less 'pliable'

hmm...  My stock fuel line is 1/4", and my Weber uses 5/16".   I have a fuel pressure regulator in-line, so I have 1/4" on one side and 5/16" on the other side.  Before that, I just used a brass fitting that had 1/4" barbed nipple on one side and 5/16" barbed nipple on the other.  Or, the 5/16" does clamp onto the 1/4" just fine, and it fits the Weber well, so yeah... just swap your 3/8" out for a 5/16" hose and you should be good to go.
