Rebuild or chook pen

Hello everybody at Ratsun,

 

I've been looking to buy another 120y as the last one I owned got rolled by a friend.

 

I'd like your opinion on if I should buy/save one I've found in my area.

 

 

So the car, not sure of the year model. 

The panels are straight not too many dents.

Looks to have been striped and primed.

Not sure of how much rust yet..

4 door 

a12 4 speed manual

As far as the interior goes it's in bad shape/not there.

 

I've been told it still runs and drives, I'm not concerned for the shape of the a12 as it's coming out anyway.

I'm more interested in how much wear it will be in, and how many components I will have to replace as it has 700,xxx Km's on the chassis.

 

Asking price is $300 Aus

Wow 700K is 420,000 miles. Suspension, brakes and steering will be toast and you're likely on the 3rd or 4th set... I hope. I would look for a more complete car, it saves in the end.

oh wow, i didnt catch the miles, that is a lot!  i would still buy it for that price, though :P  the guys on datsun1200 could give you a estimated value, most of them seem to be Australian so they would know your local market better.
