rear drive shaft

hey guys 

 

i have a bit of a problem and i hope someone is able to help me i am in need of a driveshaft the back half from carrier barring to diff for a 73 620 3 speed auto standard cab/bed if anyone has one for sale please let me know what you want for it. i am located in san diego cali if your local great i would prefer to pick it up rather then getting it shipped but will take it anyway i can. or if you know of a good place to get one that helps as well. please dont say salvage yard because i have checked almost all of them in my area.

I've got the one from my 79 not using it putting a 1 piece shaft in mine is take 40+ shipping cost

Better measure both an confirm the length needed. A king cab or long bed one won't work for sure. Rear halves for manual and auto might be the same..

To compare apples to apples measure from center of U joint to center of U joint..

ya i might be interested in the drive shaft blackbird post up the measurements and a pic not sure of the exact length of mine i will check it tomorrow

I believe that the rear shafts were all same length and the front shaft changed between auto and 4speed but we will find out

Rears.... the differences in frame length is all behind the cab on the second driveshaft. Long bed and KC should be the same longer length than the reg cab short wheelbase.

 

Fronts are all in the dame location.There may be differences in man and auto... also '74 and on transmissions are longer than the early ones so will be a shorter driveshaft.

Alright my rear shaft measured out to 29.5 inches center to center
