KiloTango1200
I need to know what the correct offset is for 1200 wheels. The wheels on my car were bought by my Dad when he bought the car new over 40 years ago. The look like they have quite a bit of positive offset, but I really have no idea. Any help would be appreciated. They don't rub with 155 80 13s. Left Front Right Rear Quote Link to comment
Duncan
I have 13x6 Minilites with a +12 offset and they fit nicely on my sedan. The only time they have ever rubbed is when I hit a major bump and the suspension nearly bottomed out. I *think* the tires are 175/60/13 If you take the wheel off, measuring the backspace is relatively easy, and there are tables that convert the backspace measurement to offset. how to measure backspace: http://www.vintagewheelworks.com/tech-backspace.php convert backspace to offset http://www.galantvr4.org/docs/backspacing.htm 1 Quote Link to comment

Duncan
No problem. It was an easy one to answer. My Sunny is RHD, but looks very much like yours.. Don't have a pic handy with the Minilites, but here it is with the wide whites and hubcaps. 1 Quote Link to comment

Duncan
Thanks man. The Minilites fit good, and the car is stock height. 1 Quote Link to comment

The Minilites fit good, and the car is stock height. The Minilites look awesome. Now I know I really need the fender mirrors. I also like the black out around the windows. Is the chrome trim around the window painted or powder coated? We have a local powder coating company that does excellent work for a very reasonable price. I was thinking about doing the door handles, bumpers and the chrome strip under the door in black. That would include black fender mirrors. Those are just too cool. My car came from the factory with the coupe grill, so it has even less chrome. Quote Link to comment
