74 620 Radiator Size

I would like to get the measurements of the radiator that should have come with my truck. The 74 radiator is not the same size as the L20B equipped 620s. The goal is to find a three core aluminum radiator that will fit, or have a custom radiator made that will fit.

 

I am building a LZ22 for a supercharged application, so I need something that will be able to cool it. If anyone knows of a radiator that will fit and has been used on a boosted 620 application, let me know.

youre lookin at custom manufacturing OR retrofitting.

ive done this search, even contacted koyo about making em.

even bought a 510 rad to make it try n work. 

 

this is from a 73 620 (L16) fsm

height/width/thickness

620    13in       17.6"   1.26"

Thanks Dawa, that should be what I need. Now I'll make a mock 13x17.6x3 cardboard box and see how it fits :)

Why not just use a 720 radiator? ?

I don't want to cut my core support at all. Does the 720 fit into the 74 without cutting the core support?

one thing i will say is that along with different rad sizes, the radiator core supports were designed 

different as well. i thought it would be as easy as cutting away some metal and drilling new holes

but the sheet metal is 'punched' so it not as easy as that.

Yea, I plan on mocking something up first if I have to go custom. I do not plan on cutting my core support. Pretty firm on that, even if it means using an in line filling position.
