Toney
Had to take a short break from the 510 and replace the a-arms on my moms tahoe. I am having a hell of a time trying to break the lower ball joint loose from the wheel hub. I have had numerous people say take it to a mechanic in which is absolutely the very last resort. Ive tried a pickle fork, numerous wedges, big-ass pry bars, and smacked that thing around and still nothing. Anyone on here know anything about this? and if so i would greatly appreciate your help I have already tried a chevy forum but a lot of you guys here on ratsun are very helpful Thanks! 2 Quote Link to comment
Guest_kamakazi620
I always use a 5ft pry bar wedge it under the spindle on top of the lower control arm then take a 5lbs hammer and smack the spindle hit it hard while you push that pry bar down.. 1 Quote Link to comment
bananahamuck
try prying down on arm and pound the lower spindle to shock it loose ,,, might wanna put nut back on so if it breaks loose.. Fuck you Joey ,,ya prick,,,, i could not think of the word "spindle" so you beat me.. and since the time stamps are both 10:50 i'm not deleting mine. 1 Quote Link to comment
