Hey that is neat. Can you get more pics? I too have the cat hump but I was looking at removing it and filling with new sheet. This looks like a nice alternative to the sawzall.

idk if i would go with that mounting set up.

i'd either go with thicker gauge aluminum.

or that gauge but in steel. 

 

also i'd put washers under those nuts, or else the 

bolts will dig into the soft aluminum if torqued properly, 

and the rivets arent holding anything structural are they?
