Tuning Ka24e with Mikuni- Starting point

Recommended Posts

Hi fella's,

It's been awhile since I last posted, but I've finally gotten some time to work on the car. It came with a KA24e in it, with the Mikuni sidedraft PHH 44mm carburetors on it. On RPMs from about 3000+, it's awesome, but it sputters and spits (rich) before it gets there.

Do any of you know what a good starting point is for the different jets? Like a general setup, then tune from there? I want it to run smoother, then worry about power later.

I've scouring the internets, but I either may be looking wrong, or it hasn't been discussed very well.

Ben

Do not go with Wolf creek racing, that guy i will just say is something else to deal with.

I've actually never had a problem with Wolf Creek.  Always very helpful and ships fast.  Todd is a good guy IMO.
