jammin
I have a chance to get a 1971 240z rosewood steering wheel and was wondering if it would be a direct swap over to my "71 521? Thanks, Ben Quote Link to comment
Rocket Dog
Ben, I can't speak to how well the Z wheel will bolt on, but in a 521 cab you might find the "dish" on the Z wheel might crowd you. The stock 521 steering wheel is flat. it was a problem for me when I bought a "dished" GT wheel from Summit Racing. Quote Link to comment
jammin
hmmm...had not thought about that. Cab is pretty small and every inch counts thats for sure. Did not know the z wheel was that far out. Thank you for picture and the info...think I'll keep the stock wheel. Appreciate it. Ben Quote Link to comment
datrod
unless your one of them little people it will never work. Or you could cut the column down to give you more room. Quote Link to comment
flyfish
I've been contemplating shortening my steering column also for a wheel change.. Has anyone here done this or able to give advice? Quote Link to comment
