Ryoskatekov
I recently got new wheels for my 280zx but Still debating on what tire to get.... I'd like to stay on Meaty tires with +-10mm from stock total radius of the wheel and was planning on going either 215/60/15 or 225/50/15 (But cross section must be smaller than the wheel width or it'll touch the spring perch or the strut tube) Anyone here have pics of it on 15x9 or 8, 10? I've done enough research and still haven't came up with a good pic... Quote Link to comment
metalmonkey47
215 and 225 would be stretched onto a 15x9, but not by much. http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=215&aspect=60&diameter=15&wheelwidth=9&offset=10&width2=225&aspect2=50&diameter2=15&wheelwidth2=9&offset2=10&Submit=Submit ^This website does an awesome job of showing you exactly what you're at with individual tire sizes. I run 15x10's on my truck with a 225/50 out back. I'll try and snag a good picture of how it looks. Scratch that, here's a decent picture of 225/50/15's on a 15x10 _DSC0031 by metalmonkey47, on Flickr Quote Link to comment
erichwaslike
15x8 with a 195/50 is slight stretch so a 205/215 will fit a 9 and go straight up like you want another site http://tyrestretch.com/ Quote Link to comment
Dawa
215s on my 8s was more of a stretch than i prefer and surprisingly i got turned down by quite a few shops to install them... but if thats what youre into Quote Link to comment

Dawa
215mm is about 8.5 in yes but an 8 in wheel is only 8" from bead seat to bead seat, but 9 in total width. i like my tires so fat there is an extreme bulge at the sidewall to protect my wheels when i parallel park as well as for the fatter footing :) Quote Link to comment

I wish I could have gone super fat reverse stretch if it wasn't for the bitchy 280zx strut tubes and need to be a daily driver :P and limited offset rota offers too. Quote Link to comment
