maximum123
Just picked up my first Datsun, bout a month ago, it's a 73 620. This is the oldest car I've own so if I ask some dumb questions don't mind me. truck looks and drives great I just got the head redone and got a new Weber carb for it, but truck runs hot and when I turn the truck off it seems like it don't want to shut off it chokes for couple seconds before finally shutting off. Don't know if this is normal or what like I said this is the oldest thing I've own. Any help would be appreciated Quote Link to comment

izzo
That's called dieseling. Your carb may have an idle cut off switch, check to see.. Carb probably needs a tune regardless. That's always been a problem solver on mine. Quote Link to comment
