The '90-'96 D-21 Hardbody KA-E truck pistons were non floating. I have a set of S13 floating ones and a couple of non floaters and the only difference I can see is the S13 pistons have grooves in them for the C clips to hold the pin in. I test fit a regular press fit pin and they seem to be the same size diameter. The S13 pins are shorter length but the pistons should work on press fit D21 pins.

I think the small dish is the same whether it is press fit or floating. The floaters are a lot easier to assemble/ tear down, and all you have to do is have the machine shop hone .001-.0015 out the rod end, and drill a couple of oil holes.

I had a machine shop press them together backwards once, so I just do this now. I just bought a set from Summit for $167.00. Silvolite #9115 std.

They work great. I abuse the hell out of them , and had to buy a 2nd set due to my own tuning error. The first set took a pretty good beating.
