I just recently picked up a 86 datsun 720, and i want to swap the carb out so i need to be sure on what i got z22 or z24? What are the visible differences between the two? izzo Posted April 11, 2013 Report Share Posted April 11, 2013 an 86 most likely has the z24 or z24I.... If you can't find the correct carb and adapter for a z24i then find a z24 intake mani. I think they were the same really, but the i was kinda like tpi (or something close to that)... Might say on the air cleaner... Post a pic of the carb, Datzenmike is a wise one on these carbs and could tell right away lolz Quote Link to comment
