markwillis_09
Will it fit? And what can I do to make it fit, it's pretty long engine for the short nose of a 720! What should I do? Quote Link to comment
metalmonkey47
*Z24 Anything will work with enough time, money, and skill. The question is, do you have all 3? It's not going to be an easy fit. Quote Link to comment
markwillis_09
Ha oops *z24! Well what's easier vg30 or a L28? Quote Link to comment
yello620
VG30 will be easier. The L28 will need the shit cut out of the firewall and heater box. Not worth it at all. Quote Link to comment
Z-train
Forget putting a L-6 in a 720.Nothing you gain will be worth the hasselvation. Quote Link to comment
c10jim
To put a inline 6 cyl dat eng into your 720 truck is not worth the hassle. i have a 1980 datsun truck that I have put one into. You run into the domino effect, one problem after another. Without cutting the body you will not have room for a rad or fan. I cut off the rad support and extended the frame. I currently can drive around the around the block on open a-pipe. Just not worth the trouble.... I have decided to make my 720 a rat truck....I strongly advise not to try and shoehorn a Z car 6cyl eng into a 720 truck...As far as pictures go I do not have anuy current ones..... Will it fit?
