▲rigava_510▲
My car seems to be overheating by readings of the temp gauge. would one of you mind taking a picture of where your gauge reads at operating temperature.. I need some help. Quote Link to comment
Tristin
At temp its just above half for myself. If after all youve done its still reading too hot, get ahold of a IR thermal gun and check what the real temperature is. You could just have a bad gauge. Quote Link to comment
qwik510
Nice car. Congrats and great work so far. I am looking forward to following your progress. My temp gauge sits between the M and the P on the gauge in one of my cars and the E and the M on the other. Maybe try hooking up an aftermarket temp gauge with actual degree readouts. What are those small circular things under the bumper up front? Reflectors? Mini Fog Lights? Quote Link to comment
izzo
Mine runs dead center of the gauge. I will probably swap out the thermostat for a lower temp one / about ten degrees. Quote Link to comment
▲rigava_510▲
Hi some urgent help needed. I want to know how many bar is the radiatot cap on the normal l16 radiator? Quote Link to comment
Tristin
I'm pretty sure the stock pressure is 13lbs or .89bar. Quote Link to comment
▲rigava_510▲
The round things under the bumper are reflectors, anyways one more question i need to know what temp sender unit you guys have on your l16's, i had a 9k that failed. Now the only replacement i got is a 11k, would that make any difference in the reading on the gauge? Quote Link to comment
▲rigava_510▲
My L16 runs at correct temperature when idling but the moment i start moving the temperature increases? Its an auto 3 speed trans. Any suggestions to what the problem might be? Need help urgent! Quote Link to comment
