metalmonkey47
Sounds like possibly IGN switch, which I think is what D-mike was getting at. Aftermarket 620 IGN switches are garbage, because the backing plate tends to wiggle around and the contacts in the switch don't always touch. Try jiggling around the back of the ign switch and see if it makes a difference. Quote Link to comment
primo909
Great info I think its the fucken ign switch it melted my plug that plugs into ign switch then I hear a clicking noise in the engine bay their coming from i think their relays or something ... Quote Link to comment
primo909
Where could I find a good ign switch for a 78 620 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
If the plug is melted that needs fixing. Bad contact will cause heat. RockAuto or some auto parts place may have them. Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
id put up a wanted ad - theres got to be a member with an ignition switch and key in a parts truck Quote Link to comment
metalmonkey47
You can make an aftermarket switch usable with a bit of JB weld. Just run a thin bead around the back of the switch to hold it in place. Just not too much, or it will run into the switch. Quote Link to comment
