It isn't a funding issue it is more of, how cheap can I keep this thing. I paid $500 for the truck, drove it home, then $40 on a top end rebuild kit, and another $40 for a carrier bearing isolator and $75 for a basically brand new head. Excluding Tax, Title transfer and registration fees, I am still well below $1000, so I think it is safe to say I'm not too worried about longevity out of the motor or anything anyways, if there is a major issue it will give me a reason to part it out or rebuild a bigger motor for it and have some fun. If I run a turbo and then I would probably do studs, but there isn't enough cylinder pressure to worry about lifting the head. I was able to get some head bolts after all...
