Ive been able to find out info on putting them into sedans but nothing on the trucks. Its got the J15 atm with the colomn shift 4spd. And ive picked up the Z18t and manual box and loom for next to nothing so im keen on putting it in Any info would be great Ryan Quote Link to comment

Ryno620 Posted February 19, 2013 Author Report Share Posted February 19, 2013 From what ive read on other sites, its the same block as the L series but with an efi twin spark plug head. They also lean the same degree but in the opposite direction to the L block, so they say use L16 mounts but reversed left to right to get the engine to sit right(this is to fit in a 510) Quote Link to comment
datzenmike Posted February 19, 2013 Report Share Posted February 19, 2013 The J series motor mount locations are way different than the L or Z series, at least they are over here. Reversing L16 engine brackets? Well it might work but never heard of that. The L tilt is 12 degrees right of vertical. Z and KA are 6-8 degrees to left of vertical I believe so .... close.... (maybe). We weren't blessed with the Z18ET but we got the Z24 and the KA24E in the trucks. Quote Link to comment
