BayArea510
Are you trying to sell it? ill take it lol.. well to be honest guys im having second toughts of even opening my engine, when i got this engine it had less than 30k so im debating on not opening the block and just building the top end for now till i maybe feel my engine getting tired, then ill bore the block because the pistons that i got are 86.5 and 9:1 comp. so idk im still eehh about might just do 264's ported head stock springs, valves, lifters, ported stock mani and 750cc injectors with 255 pump, and jim wolf tuned ecu, im in a world of confusion right now tho.....grrr Bore it over, you already bought the parts. Besides you have to remove both oil pans to mate the new oil pump cover properly. Some do only the head and not the pan but have oil leaking issues where cover meets aluminum oil pan. I had my bottom end built 2010 after spinning a rod bearing and regret not changing the oil pump. After I installed what I thought was a freshly rebuilt motor. I hooked up all my gauges and it turned out my pump was not pressurizing oil (bad pump) and starving the rod bearings. Luckily I caught it right away (save my investment) and out it came again for a new oil pump. Its a real pain in the ass trust me after all the hard work and having to pull out the motor again because I rushed and learned along the way. Now May 2012 I fried my exhaust valve stem seals, wore the guides and lifted my head gasket from happy boosting (17psi) too often. I had my bottom end inspected and pressure tested ( no leaks) So now I focused on the Head this time I took my time and I have it built to withstand heavy boost. Take your time bro and don't short cut it. thanks for your input rusty, as far as my oil concern i will be running a greddy oil pan with new pick up tube and oil pump, for sure! to avoid all that from hapenning... thanks Don't forget to get the oil pick up for an S14 its redesigned to pull more oil and less starvation upon cornering inertia. Unless you are going with a custom oil pick up. Quote Link to comment

Changes along the way where the VTC sprocket on intake cam, intake Mani, valve cover and blow by orientation, bigger Turbo and different ECU.So those stopppers should work. Quote Link to comment
