imadriftking
when u hold the spark plug wire coming from top of coil u can feel a little shock like its gettin a little bit of electricity but no spark and i hold the spark plug wires comming from dizzy i cant feel anything Quote Link to comment
Tristin
How are you checking for spark? Are you just holding the wire expecting to see something or are you putting the end of the wire up to an exposed bolt so that the spark has somewhere to arc to?- there needs to be a completed path for electricity to travel... imadriftking
Yes spark plugged is ground propperly i have all wires hooked up correctly except for the coil ill take pics of what im dealin with right now Quote Link to comment
Tristin
So you are holding it up to a bolt then? If youre 100% sure its hooked up properly than I would say that its your coil. Was it working before your swap? Quote Link to comment
imadriftking
Yes the coil was working fine but i dont think i hooked the.coil up right the blk/wht wire goes.to possitive on coil and the neg is groumded correct or no? Quote Link to comment
Tristin
The negative on the coil should be going to the distributor... Quote Link to comment

ggzilla
> So what ur saying is use the stock 240 coil? YES You might be able to make an older type of coil work, but we don't have experience with it. If you figure it out, tell us how you did it so we can learn. Quote Link to comment
