Hey Folks,

I have an early 1971 240Z up for sale. It's a Great little car, but with a newborn and unpredictable hours at work. I don't have the time for this project.

THE GOOD:

Early '71 With Vert Hatch glass
E88 Head with Round Top SU's
Newly rebuilt SU carbs with Z-Therapy SM needles.
Electronic Ignition (Crane XR-3000) Crane High Performance Coil (PS-20)
Wilwood 1'' Brake Master Cylinder
New Toyota 4x4 4-Pot  Calipers (s12)
Earl's s13 SS Brake Lines
New Spark plug wires and plugs Cap & rotor
New 280ZX 70Amp Alternator and Belt
Legit New Jersey Inspection til 2014

THE BAD:

No Nardi or Hello kitty
No radio
No Diamond Racing wheels
Cut Springs
Frame rail rust only on passenger side (common: older batteries would leak, exposing the metal causing rust.)

Extras:

280ZX 5speed
Clutch Pedal assembly (Hard to find!)
Clutch Master & Slave With Hardline
Outter Tie Rods & Tie rod boots

So, the sweet Nardi wheel with hello kitty button is not included?  And the Diamond steelies...pictured with and without tires are not included?  A ZX 5-spd IS included? - but you've never run it with anything but the 3-spd auto?  A 2.4 first-gen 240z is not so fast with a stock rear end gear- and I know the 4-spd with a 3.3 is slow/economical and a 4-spd with 4.10 is better/less economical. If you're in N.J. my question is..would the car make it 200-300miles south for a trailer pick-up?

Hey,

Personally i would just tow the whole way. The car runs but my inexperience in tuning carbs causes the plugs to get fouled up pretty fast.
