BlueSue Posted December 23, 2012 Report Share Posted December 23, 2012 If anyone has an A14 engine , i live in oregon, eugene area, let me know. i have a near perfect 1977 b210, and it ran great, but now theres water in the oil and it dies right after it starts up: ( this was my favorite car ever and id love to fix her.) or if anyone has a b210 they are selling that runs, or wants to trade (partial)? ggzilla Posted December 23, 2012 Report Share Posted December 23, 2012 Are you mechanical at all? It might just need a new head gasket. Depends on how long it overheated. If it was just seconds OK, but if it was minutes then it will need complicated machining. Link to comment
BlueSue Posted December 23, 2012 Author Report Share Posted December 23, 2012 it was on the freeway, so i drove it at least 2 minutes, the radiator hose blew. is a head gasket easy to replace? no, not very mechanical, but i cant really afford to pay someone else, and i can probably learn Link to comment
ggzilla Posted December 23, 2012 Report Share Posted December 23, 2012 If you drove it 2 minutes after the hose blew or after the needle got to H, then almost for sure you warped the cylinder head. Then it's not easy or cheap to fix. Link to comment

The Pick A Part between Eugene and Junction City on 99 had a b210 a few months back, with any luck it may not be blown. May want to try there. Link to comment
