Silver04rs
Well its been close to a year since I have updated this thread.... and I wish I had more going on. I lost my job back in August but was able to hang onto the car. I had done a few things up until that point but she basically sat from August until very recently. But I am now back working full time and have some big plans... Here's a few things I did to her before I lost my job last year - It sounds silly, but having a nice wheel and dash in a car is a huge things to me. I feel it conects you to the car and I had to have a Nardi in my 510 Only problem was getting it to fit. I couldn't find a hub for the life of me. after lots of research I found a hub from a 85 Nissan 720 ST is what I needed as it was the correct spline and bolt pattern. I located one here on Ratsun and it got lost in shipping and took about 2 months to finaly get here. Original I had - My New Nardi 330 Deep Corn- Since this picture was taken I tried to dye the cover for the hub without much luck. So now it has been painted satin black and looks pretty good Quote Link to comment
Silver04rs
Up front my car was looking a little beat. The Valance was a bit smashed up and I do plan on repairing that in tie but a Front Bumper had been on my list since day one for the car. I was finaly able to locate a nice one with just a little surface rust. Once Bolted up it put a nice little smile on my face :) I also received a little care package for the car including a Spook Lip, but it has yet to go on However.... I did take the time to install my new KeyChain Quote Link to comment
Silver04rs
I have also got a little work done under the hood as well. The car came with SU's and the linkage wasnt the best on them. But that wasnt my real issue, I wanted to have Mikuins on this one Here are the SU's (in th for sale section now) And here is my new hotness! While these looked great and ran much better I wanted a little longer stack on them so I found a set of aluminum ones that would do the trick. I also liked the finish a bit better Quote Link to comment
Silver04rs
Back to the interior... I was able to get some brackets built for my EVO8 Seats. While they arent super slammed like I was wishing for they are at a good height and have sliders and everything on them I also did some trimming on the frame of the back seat so I could get that back in the car. While I dont plan on using it, I just like the look of a semi complete interior. Me working at 3AM while it was still 90F in my garage Quote Link to comment
Silver04rs
And here are a few more odds and ends that I have collected some bits for the front end and some new seals for her stoked to be able to latch my gas door As of the last few months this is where she has sat waiting for me to get back to work --- I'm happy to say that I am back working and its time to dive back in Thanks Travis Brock Quote Link to comment
