Right now it is an L20B with a 32/36 Weber but will be changing to my SU's which are the 38mm round top's... My question is how much PSI do you need to run it without a Fuel Pressure Regulator or a fuel return line? I thought I remember seeing somewhere it saying to run a 3-5 lb adjustable... Is this true? datzenmike Posted June 15, 2008 Report Share Posted June 15, 2008 Webers don't like over 3lbs. I think the SUs as well. The fuel return line, though not totally necessary, is a good idea. This keeps fresh cool fuel circulating past the carb even when under hood temps soar. Any vapor bubbles are pushed back to the tank. It also constantly filters your gas. Quote Link to comment
fiveNdime Posted June 16, 2008 Report Share Posted June 16, 2008 I run my SU's at 4 lbs. But my motor is mildly built 2.2. Either way you dont need a fuel return line. Just get a cheap regulator from Napa or some other parts store. You should be able to get a pump and regulator for around 50 bucks. Quote Link to comment
