L20 in 82 210

want to do the swap im getting the motor this weekend does anyone know if the 78 510 cross member will bolt on the 210? that would be pretty nice..i thought there was someone who put a L20 in a 210 but couldnt find it on here.

I've heard that the 'new' 510 (A10) crossmember bolts right into the B310 (Datsun 210).

 

I know the front suspension (struts, brakes, tie-rods) is exactly the same,

has anyone ever done the rear disc brake conversion to the 210? would it be as easy as doing it to a 510?

Is it a front sump L20B? Whats it out of? You'll need the tranny too. Don't think the 210 motor mounts won't work on the L20B. Tell more.... and some pics of the swap as you do it.

 

But it should haul serious ass.

oh L20B. That's been done many times. I was thinking L20 six-cylinder that would be cool.

L20 I always assume it's a B and not an A. Rare. ... Oh! I get it, a 3' long motor in a 210.

its out of a 77 620 and i know the 210 motor mounts wont work thats why im gonna try to swap cross members with a 78 510 but i need to start soon i have no car at the moment...i was hoping to have ready for canby show but i guess ill put a car in next year
