Not mind readers; it's totally possible you managed to use a stock 620 IR alternator with a SR swap. The test procedures were all valid either way. An IR alternator is an IR alternator, they may have different plugs and different capacities, but they all work the same way. As far as cost, well, yeah. $215 is reasonable for a new alternator, high for a rebuild, and low for a Dealer unit. REAL low for a non-spec alternator. Quote Link to comment
