72oakes240tree Posted October 15, 2012 Report Share Posted October 15, 2012 Can some one help me I did a compression test recently and the motor ran fine before I did it but my friend pulled the wire from the coil instead of the distributor and when I pluged it back in the motor wouldn't stay running. It will turn over and fire but when I let the key go back to the run position the motor kills itself every time does anyone know what I might be dealing with? Quote Link to comment
Skib Posted October 15, 2012 Report Share Posted October 15, 2012 start with the basics check all the wires by your dizzy and coil and make sure he didnt accidentally unplug any. and make sure the coil wire is plugged in all the way. Quote Link to comment
