moparvwfreak Posted October 14, 2012 Report Share Posted October 14, 2012 could be the switch, relay, or the motor itsself. a Mk3 motor will bolt in, as will a intermittent wiper relay from a later B3 Passat or MK3 Jetta. i have a later relay in my 79 and it works like a champ. a friend has a mk3 motor in his 81 caddy so his wipers are decently fast as well. also i have a STOCKPILE of parts for rabbits. let me know and i can help with it. You can actually upgrade your relay to also give you intermittent wipers. I have MK3 motors in both my 78 Scirocco and 77 Bunny and the difference is night and day. Quote Link to comment
