(with key turned to accessories OR engine running)

all lights on, no sound, buttons dont do anything.

constant power (yellow) to behind fuse panel with inline fuse

switched ign power wired to actual 'radio' wire (blue/white) with inline fuse

front speakers wired up (white/grey)

rear speaker, power antenna, memory, illum, amp, dimmer not wired up

ground (black) hooked up

antenna wire plugged in

history: bought the truck with all the wires a mess, all fuses pulled = no power to stereo

today i finally cut a few feet of excess wire from everything, identified everything, installed fuses

what could the problemo be?

thanks for your input. i took the face off and cleaned the contacts, as well as cleaned the contacts on the back where the harness plugs into but to no avail. also, it looks like the head unit is staying lit even after the key is turned to off.

what do yall usually wire your ign power and constant power wires to

on my 620s, the original radio wire works for the keyed ignition and then i run new wire to my aux fuse block under hood for the memory. seems to work pretty well for me. i also run new speaker wire, 14 gauge, to my speakers in teh kicks and rear pod speakers. sounds great in my trucks.

as for everything staying on, looks as though the deck is shot. been there. time for a new one to me.
