What to do with the top slot of center console.

there's a slot in the top of my center console where the a/c controls used to be.

 

I'm trying to figure out something to do with it.

 

I think this equalizer would fit alright.

There's a stock delete plate for that hole with grooves in it. I got a Datsun dash emblem from a 280 z and stuck it on there

I just made a faceplate for my tapedeck from wood. I took a chrome ring from one of my extra side markers and glued it to the wood around the tapedeck, it's a close fit.

I put my cb in the dash. Less wires to run.

 

I'm thinking of a cd player like a computer tower style that runs off 12volts.

I cut a piece of plastic that size,put masking tape on the face of it,glued it in with Liquid Nails,and paintd the whole thing with black vinyl paint. Looks really nice. I have a radio delete plate below that.
